Born and bought up in Mumbai, I always had the passion for food. I was surrounded by great cooks in my family, my mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin (a professional chef). Aiming to become chef, I would observe how my mother made chapatis (Flatbread), prawns pulao etc. I tried my hand at making a few little later. They inspired me to join culinary school and further cook good food. After gaining experience in India, United Kingdom and Singapore, I finally settled in Canada. Being a chef, I love to cook and the thought of sharing recipes with people and spreading the joy of food is the reason for creating a blog. The idea is to share street food recipes as well as fine dining recipes and make people more knowledgeable about food. This is very therapeutic and calming process and there is no other joy than cooking for our loved ones.
